Meet Our Staff
Dr. Michael J. Gibson
Dr. Gibson serves as the Medical Director of Carolina HealthChoice. He received his medical degree from The University of South Carolina School of Medicine and has been practicing for 23 years. He has specialties in General Preventative Medicine, Public Health, and Pain Management. He has also worked in hospice care for the past seven years. His knowledge and compassionate nature make him an incredible asset to our team.
Dr. Lorone Washington
Dr. Washington serves as the Medical Director of Carolina HealthChoice in Columbia and Greenville. He received his medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and has been practicing for 15 years. While his specialty is Emergency Medicine, Dr. Washington has vast knowledge in not only pain management, but also in opioid risk management. Dr. Washington also leads our Occupational Health Program.
Dr. Robert Jones
Dr. Jones serves as the Medical Director of Carolina HealthChoice in Orangeburg. He received his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine and has been practicing for over 30 years. His specialty is Family Medicine.
Beth Rouse, APRN, FNP-BC, Clinical Director
Beth Rouse is the Clinical Director of Carolina HealthChoice. She spent seven years as a Registered Nurse before pursuing her Nurse Practitioner's license in 2011. Her medical experience includes physical medicine, geriatric internal medicine, pediatrics, dialysis and nerve pain. She worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner with The Minute Clinic providing acute care services and various physical examinations. She has been well trained in all aspects of patient support including assessments, counseling, and administration of treatment procedures.
Cathy Bradberry, Operations Support Manager, Referral Coordinator
Cathy Bradberry serves as our Operations Support Manager and Referral Coordinator. She comes to us with over eleven years of patient care experience in a hospital setting, and three years of medical management experience. She received her bachelor's degree in Business Management from Southern Wesleyan University. Her outstanding ability to efficiently multi-task with a smile on her face makes Cathy stand out to everyone. Her caring manner is noticed by not only the Carolina HealthChoice staff, but also its patients.
Alicia Brown, Insurance Specialist
Alicia Brown serves as the Insurance Specialist for Carolina HealthChoice. Her experience includes medical billing and coding, as well as knowledge of required healthcare protocols. She is extremely helpful, organized, and is a team player. Always willing to lend a helping hand, her kindness and professionalism make her stand out.
Jennifer Paglia, ACNP-BC, Assistant Clinical Director
Jennifer Paglia is the Assistant Clinical Director at Carolina HealthChoice. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Clemson University in 2003. She spent nearly four years as a Registered Nurse at Lexington Medical Center in the Intensive Care Unit. She later worked at Lexington Family Practice in Irmo, and as a Graduate Research Assistant while she was attending graduate school. She received her Master of Science in Nursing as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from the University of South Carolina in 2007. Since then, she has worked as a Nurse Practitioner at MUSC Cardiology and most recently as a Hospitalist/Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner at Palmetto Health Richland. She is also a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Chelsea Driver, APRN, FNP-C
Chelsea Driver received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Carolina, before pursuing her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in 2015. She spent a number of years in the Providence Hospital Emergency Department prior to focusing on acute care where she treated a wide range of illnesses, and provided physical examinations. She is also affiliated with the America Association of Nurse Practitioners. Her diligence and caring demeanor make her an important part of our patient care team.
Nicolle Gibson, Front Office Coordinator
Nicolle Gibson serves as the Front Office Coordinator in our Irmo office. She comes to us with over twenty years of medical office experience including cadiovascular, surgical pathology, and the emergency department. Her bright smile, helpful disposition, and organized manner make her a great asset to the Carolina HealthChoice team.
Alicia Warren, Medical Assistant
Alicia Warren serves as a Medical Assistant in the Irmo Columbia office. She received her Medical Assistant certificate from Fortis College, and has over eight years of experience in her field, including time spent in urology, pulmonary, and neurology. She is a team player, and is exceptional at multi-tasking. Her kind demeanor, and great attitude always put the patients at ease.
Misty Burnett, APRN, FNP-C
Misty Burnett received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Carolina - Spartanburg in 2008. She spent fourteen years as a Registered Nurse before obtaining her Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing. Her medical experience includes Med-Surg, Cardiology, Intensive Care, Recovery, and also Home Health. Her attention to detail and compassionate nature make her a welcomed addition to our patient care team.
Christine Norris, Front Office Coordinator
Christine Norris serves as the Front Office Coordinator in the Northeast Columbia office. She completed the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant Program at Remington College in 2016. In addition to medical assistant skills and abilities, her experience includes medical office management, billing & coding, and medical records management. She is an energetic addition to our team and is always willing to go above and beyond in helping both patients and co-workers.
Tierra Hawkins, Registered Medical Assistant
Tierra Hawkins serves as the Medical Assistant in the Northeast Columbia office. She completed the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant Program at Southeastern Institute in 2018. In addition to pain management, her experience includes pediatric care. She is dedicated and is always willing to go above and beyond in helping both patients and co-workers.
Robin Infinger, APRN, FNP-BC
Robin Infinger received her Master's Degree in Nursing in 2016. Prior to receiving her Master's Degree, she spent twenty four years as a Registered Nurse where she gained diverse experience in different areas of patient care including intensive care, trauma, medical-surgical, behavioral health, and the emergency department. Her patient care, kind demeanor, and attention to detail are noticed by both patients and staff. We are very pleased to have her on our team.
Page Steiner, Front Office Coordinator
Page Steiner serves as the Front Office Coordinator in our Orangeburg office. She is also a Medical Assistant with experience in phlebotomy, and electrocardiograms, as well as providing patient care and assistance with activities of daily living. Her friendly, personable demeanor is noticed by both the staff and the patients. Page is dedicated to helping both patients and team members.
Traci Jamison, Medical Assistant
Traci Jamison serves as a Medical Assistant in our Orangeburg office. She received her Certified Nursing Assistant license from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. She has over eighteen years of experience as a Medical Office Assistant where she not only helped patients and practitioners, but was responsible for training, marketing, and served as a Diabetes Educator.
Karen Picone, APRN, FNP-BC
Karen Picone is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Prior to obtaining her Master’s Degree in Nursing, she spent over twenty years as a Registered Nurse. Her experience encompasses home healthcare, family practice, surgical, hospice and emergency medicine. She is a member of the Upstate Nurse Practitioner’s Association, the America Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Her experience working with a wide variety of acute and chronic care patients has led to her dedication to enhancing her patient’s quality of life and wellness. Her patient care, kind demeanor, and leadership experience make her a valued part of our team.
Amy Ventura, Front Office Coordinator
Amy Ventura serves as the Front Office Coordinator in our Greenville office. Her front office experience includes solid customer services skills which give her the ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude in any situation. In addition, she received her Certificate in Medical Assisting from Fortis Institute in 2013, and was on the Dean’s List. She is bi-lingual, and also speaks Spanish. Her friendly, helpful demeanor make her an important part of our patient care team!
Lynn Garrick, Medical Assistant
Lynn Garrick serves as the Medical Assistant in our Greenville office. She comes to us with over twelve years of medical assistant experience, including pulmonary and critical care. She is extremely organized, efficient, and is always willing to help in any way she can. She is a welcomed addition to our Greenville team!
Ithamesia Rodgers, AGACNP-C
Ithamesia Rodgers is a Certified Acute Care Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. Prior to obtaining her Master’s Degree in Nursing, she spent over nineteen years as a Registered Nurse, including experience in public health, medical-surgical, addiction treatment, and fifteen years served at Moncrief Army Community Hospital at Ft. Jackson. Her professional, compassionate demeanor make her a valuable member of our team.
Emily Glasgow, Medical Assistant
Emily Glasgow serves as the Medical Assistant in our Newberry office. She comes to us with experience as an Abuse Specialist, as well as a Direct Support staff member of Newberry Disabilities and Special Needs. She is compassionate, organized, and is always willing to help in any way she can. Her kind nature and willingness to help both patients and staff make her an important team member.
Hengeh-Mae Quindo, APRN, FNP-C
Hengeh-Mae Quindo is the Assistant Clinical Director over the Orangeburg and Charleston locations. She is a Family Nurse Practitioner certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and is licensed by the state of South Carolina to provide safe, holistic, and efficient healthcare services to patients of all ages. Prior to receiving her Master's Degree in Nursing, she spent ten years as a Registered Nurse where she gained diverse experience in different areas of patient care including intensive care, progressive care, medical-surgical, orthopedics, and skilled nursing care. Furthermore, she holds a CCRN national certification granted by the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN), and also is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Her patient care, attention to detail, and organizational skills are exceptional. We are very pleased to have her on our team.
La Keshia Haynes, Front Office Coordinator
La Keshia Haynes serves as the Front Office Coordinator in our Charleston office. She has worked in the medical front office field for seven years, with experience in urology, eye surgery, and urgent care. In addition, she is also a phlebotomist and has worked with the American Red Cross. Her kind nature and willingness to help both patients and staff make her an important team member.
Tonjala Harris, Medical Assistant
Tonajala Harris serves as the Medical Assistant in our Charleston office. She received her Certificate in Medical Assisting from Southeastern Institute in Charleston. She is an excellent communicator, organized, and provides exceptional patient care.
